Sarratt Village Hall is situated in Hertfordshire, just outside the M25, and has five separately hireable rooms. It is a busy hall used by about 20 local organisations plus occasional use for events such as weddings and private parties.
At any one time the hall diary has 300 to 400 future bookings for up to 3 years ahead, and in an average week we have about 18 bookings. The hall is run by volunteers, but we do have a part-time booking clerk as an employee. We had been using a custom-built website and diary system, but as support was being withdrawn for this, we investigated a number of ‘off-the-shelf' solutions, and were impressed by Hallmaster's unique offering of a hosted diary service.
Conversion to the Hallmaster Diary system was quick and easy to do in a matter of days, and support from the Hallmaster team is prompt and helpful. We have now been using the Hallmaster system for about 2 months with no problems and the hall users have even complimented us on the new system!

Our present Bookings Officer previously handled everything via a rather tatty old black diary that followed her everywhere. I gave her some training on how to use the system and she has taken to it like a duck to water!
Mostly that is down to the great User Interface design Hallmaster implemented.
